A MAN has been rescued in the state’s North-East after he became lost while bushwalking.
His partner called police about 8.30pm yesterday after he had failed to return from a walk in the Blue Tier Forest Reserve.
A three-person State Emergency Service rescue team headed out from Launceston about 11pm.
They located the man, who had become lost and cold on Mount Michael, about 5.30am
