I'm exhausted
I just finished a 90 minutewalk in the localpools deep water walking lane
My GP suggested non loadbearing walking as my best exercise while waiting for my hip rebuild.
It took me about 20 minute to warm up and at the end of the first 60 minutes I was really breathing quite heavily but I decided to keep going for as long as I could.
how much extra resistance does walking in waist deep water add to the regime? because even as hard as I pushed it was taking me 60 seconds for every 25metre lap of the walking pool, that's 40 minute per kilometre and I would normally walk at least twice that fast as a slow amble
