I'm planning a walk from the Barossa to Condah (just over the border in Vic). I'd like to spend some time walking through the Coorong, but don't know anything about the area. Any advice, suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Coorong will have unique challenges for a walker. I've thought about it in the past but to be honest its low on my priority list. Chief concerns are water availability... not many water supplies unless you go to the highway and a then onto a farmhouse. The other issue(s) are sand and wind. It just about NEVER stops being windy there. Even in winter, the sand is dry enough on most of the dunes/beach to be blowing about. Its like being in a permanent dust storm. Sand gets everywhere. So dealing with that is an issue...avoiding blisters, keeping it out of your shelter and sleeping gear.
Good luck though!
