I'm 178cm do you reckon the mini peak would be to tight with a mat? It's the sloping walls I'd be concerned about and sleeping bag touching wall condensation.

A mid may not be ideal if very exposed.
Yes the 3F model is a little larger but lighter but still well made.
May be fiddly to pitch.

I did get in with the mat and quilt, but maybe worth another crack? Quilting may be less of an issue-at least at one end? Put your raincoat over the feet? Can you maybe get one with the possibility of returning it?
