TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

This page shows the dimensions.
http://www.tarptent.com/scarp2_2.html
Henry is using a "box" 182cm long,51 cm wide and 30cm high to simulate the space taken by a person up to that size.
As noted there , the "box" is 18 cm from the end wall. At that point the distance between the floor and the inner is 49 cm.
If you are taller you still have 18cm at the other end. The minimum height is about 30cm.
The ends are the same for the two versions.

The 2010 line up has several tents that are more suited to the weather down there than the original type Tarptents, so pretty much also usable anywhere in Australia.
So take my comments now as being not just from a fan but from a somewhat more biased view than before.(if that is possible)

So... Franco, will you be selling the tents here? Will they be at (specially modified) AU prices. Will they still be available from Henry? Should Corvus buy one Now? ( :D )

Thank you for the comments.

I have shipped the first few tents out this morning. I will be getting some more stock in a few days and then some backup stock.
So, yes in a sense I will be selling Tarptents.
Henry mentioned in one E Mail , a few weeks ago, that the cure for my boredom (I have been at home for two years doing nothing except bothering tent designers...) could be to sell Tarptents from the back of my ute (he knows that I don't drive...)
So I thought about that and we came up with a way whereby I get a small commission, get to play with all of the models, let someone else play with them too and keep the same price.
So if you order a TT now, you pay exactly the same as before but it will be shipped by me. (your back-up/warranty is still from TT US)
Please keep in mind that it is not a viable business proposition. If I had a shop in town I would have to charge about twice as much as the US price. Remember that TT sells directly, there is no wholesale no retail mark up.

I will also stock Tyvek and maybe some other bits.
