TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hi,
Any suggestions on a 4 season 1 person tent that pitches fly and inner together that ideally is freestanding. Would preferably want to support an Australian company or buy used if anyone has something suitable.
Cheers

Check out Wilderness Equipment Second Arrow for a non-free standing Aussie brand.
I got a First Arrow UL as a 1 man tent because I'm tall and like the extra space in the white season.
If your not tall, the Second Arrow could be what your looking for. Standard or UL.

Not Australian made, but you are describing a Hilleberg Soulo.

Also such "free-standing" tents still need to be pegged down and strongly guyed if they are to survive alpine storms.

Big Sky International. If you want the inner attached then the Revolution model comes in 1,1.5 and 2p. Choose a fabric inner. Or the Chinook model is similar with three full length poles.

Mont moondance ticks all boxes except pitching fly and inner together? Not light but can't have everything

Goondies aren't actually fly and inner pitched together. Its inner first then fly over the top. But with a bit of fiddling (or maybe a lot) you can pitch inner with fly draped over then tie down the fly.
