Whitcombe valley?
Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.

Thanks Tyreless. We haven't made it to Japan but have many good reports. 21 y.o. nephew was there recently. A lot of millennial stuff but he enjoyed My Fuji and wants to return for snowboarding/skiing.

By unusual means think, not by car, not flying, not on an animal, and only a masochist would want to walk 1km in elevation gain to get there from the main road...

I suspect it's Chandragiri temple, and that you got there by taking the cable car.

You are right with the cable car but about 130 kms out for the temple. Go west young man!!

Keep trying you're on the right track.

Between the 2 main cities.

I visited it on the way back from Ghorka to KTM.
