I'm planning to do this walk with 3 others in the next couple of weeks.
Has anyone done it recently?
Which direction is recommended?

Don't forget to look at Chapman. It's definitely not a doddle and in white out conditions, is going to need plenty of experience of Dolerite.

I've done this walk a few times, most recently on ANZAC weekend two years ago. It's not hard to find your way when the conditions are clear. A bit harder when it's clagged in. You'll encounter some good scrubby sections and some big boulder fields and some rough pads that aren't too hard to follow until you get back to the track to The Labyrinth.
