South Coast Track

I'm leaving tomorrow arvo to camp at cockle
Day one: Cockle Creek to Surprise Bay, 23.6 km, 10 hours
Day two: Surprise bay to Little Deadmans, 18.4km, 9 hours
Day three: Little Deadmans to Lousia River, 12.3 km, 8 hours
Day four: Lousia River to Lousia bay, 8km, 3 hours
Day five: Lousia Bay to Point Eric, 16km four hours
Day six: Point Eric to Melaluca maybe home
Day seven: maybe daytrip to Mt. beatie, then maybe fly home, or fly the next day.

Besides the Sth cape range it's nice..

ahh the Sth cape range.. awful awful track on an awful ridge..

Sth Cape range doesn't even have a decent view

There's the fresh air, the mud, the exercise, the mud, the joy of being out in the bush, the mud, the chance of encounters with wildlife, the mud . . .
. . . there's also the fact that you have to do it to get to the other side, and as there are views and points on the other side it's worth getting to.

That my dear is exactly right, and the only reason i've been across that range some 5 or 6 times.
