In chest waders in february mid afternoon heat we battled through eucalipts with many downed logs and the whole lot tied together with vines that resisted most attempts at passage. By the time we got to the track we were saturated with sweat and I remember carrying the waders etc and walking back in jocks and sox.
It's hard to imagine how scrub can impede your progress to such an extent but.....
