Directions	From Grafton Road, head south along Castledoyle Road; After 12.6km, continue straight along Blue Hole Road Castle Doyle. After another 3km, come to the trackhead on Blue Hole Road Castle Doyle.

	Then almost immediately (at the 3-way intersection, with & Threlfall Track) bear right, to follow the Threlfall Track. After another 40m, pass a picnic table (10m on your right). Then almost immediately, pass a picnic table (10m on the left).
	Then (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on the Threlfall Track. Then almost immediately, pass a picnic table (15m on your right). After another 15m, pass a picnic table (20m on your right). Then almost immediately, pass a BBQ (30m on your right). After another 15m, cross the metal bridge. After another 50m, cross the metal bridge, over Gara River.
	After another 30m, (at the 3-way intersection) bear left, to stay on the Threlfall Track. After another 40m, head up the steps.
	Then almost immediately (at the 3-way intersection) bear right (taking the second option to the right, basically straight ahead), to stay on the Threlfall Track. Then almost immediately, cross the metal bridge. After another 30m, pass a seat (on your right).
	After another 350m, (at the 3-way intersection) turn right, to stay on the Threlfall Track.
	After another 100m, (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on the Threlfall Track. Then almost immediately you will find the Old dam wall lookout (15m on your right). After another 700m, cross the wooden bridge. After another 300m, cross the wooden bridge. After another 750m, head down the steps. Then down steps another two times over then next 80m. After another 40m, head down the steps. After another 30m, head down the steps. After another 200m, cross the wooden bridge. After another 20m you will find the Gorge Lookout . Then head up the steps. After another 400m you will find the The Penstock lookout (on the left).
	Then (at the 3-way intersection) bear right, to stay on the Threlfall Track. After another 300m, cross the creek. Then ford again after another 1.1km. After another 1.1km, cross the creek.
	After another 900m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Threlfall Track & ) bear left.
	After another 40m, (at the 3-way intersection, with & Threlfall Track) turn left, to follow the Threlfall Track. Then almost immediately, cross the metal bridge, over Gara River. After another 60m, cross the metal bridge.
	After another 50m, (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on the Threlfall Track.
	After another 40m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Threlfall Track & ) bear left.
	Then almost immediately (at the 3-way intersection) turn right.
	After another 20m you come to the end, Castle Doyle.

	After another 20m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Threlfall Track & Blue Hole Road) turn right, to follow Blue Hole Road.
	After another 50m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Blue Hole Road & ) bear right. After another 20m, pass a BBQ (20m on your right). Then almost immediately, pass a picnic table (15m on your right). Then almost immediately, pass a toilet (10m on the left).
	Then (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight. After another 15m, pass a toilet (10m on the left).
	Then (at the 3-way intersection) bear right. After another 15m, pass a water tap (on your right). Universally Wheelchair accessible.
	Then almost immediately this sidetrip ends at Blue Hole Day Use Area, Castle Doyle. You will also find a BBQ, picnic table, toiletand a water tap here.
