	The starting point of an alternate access track. Alternate access to the start of the walk from Leura train station. Details below. Start. There is a seat (about 65 m back from the start)., has no backrest. Find the shelter at the start. Find the car park at the start. Find the Gorden Falls Reserve at the start. Gorden Falls Reserve Gordon Falls Reserve is just off Lone Pine Ave near the intersection with Olympian Pde, Leura. The park has car parking, electric BBQ's, toilets, garbage disposal, children's play equipment, picnic tables and bench seats. The park has plenty of open area and some shaded spots. There are a number of artificial cave shelters, with picnic tables inside. Find the BBQ at the start. Find the picnic table at the start. Find the playground at the start.
	After another 20 m (from the Lone Pine Avenue) turn left, to head along Lone Pine Avenue (a road). After another 20 m pass a seat (20 m on your left)., has a backrest. Then pass the "Gordon Falls" (35 m on your left). Then pass the sign (40 m on your left).
	After another 160 m (at the intersection of Elysian Place & Olympian Parade) turn left, to head along Elysian Place (a vehicle track). After another 15 m pass the sign (on your right). Then pass the sign (on your right). After another 35 m continue straight. After another 25 m come to the "Leuralla Public Gardens Amphitheatre" (35 m on your right).
	Continue straight. After another 20 m head down the 25 steps (about 25 m long) Then find the "Elysian Rock" (on your left). Elysian Rock Elysian Rock is a fenced, small, narrow lookout on a rock buttress. The floor is mostly uneven, natural sandstone and there is a bench seat with no shade. The lookout is right at the edge of the cliff and gives a great view straight across the Jamison Valley and out to Mount Solitary. Narrow Neck and the 'back' of the Three Sisters are visible on the right-hand side, and Sublime Point on the left. The lookout is along the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, just west of a concrete bridge spanning a chasm and near the end of Elysian Place, Leura. After another 5 m head down the 20 concrete steps (about 8 m long) Then pass a "Elysian Rock Lookout" (9 m on your left)., has a backrest. Then cross the Buttenshaw Bridge (about 15 m long) Then head up the 10 concrete steps (about 3 m long) After another 6 m come to the viewpoint (6 m on your left). After another 6 m pass a seat (on your left)., has a backrest. After another 125 m pass the car park (50 m on your right). After another 60 m find the "Olympian Lookout" (7 m on your left). Olympian Lookout Olympian Lookout is a fenced lookout, just off the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, near Olympian Pde in Leura. The lookout is on a sloped, natural sandstone surface and has some steps cut to help improve access. The lookout is right at the edge of the cliff and provides a great view across the Jamison Valley, out to Mount Solitary. The 'back' of the Three Sisters, and also Narrow Neck, are both visible on the right, and Sublime Point on the left.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Olympian Rock Lookout. To start this optional side trip veer left here. On returning from this side trip continue straight when you get back to this intersection. Details below. From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 45 m pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT East - 10" (on your right). After another 460 m pass the shelter (80 m on your right). After another 65 m find the "Tarpeian Rock" (25 m on your left). Tarpeian Rock Tarpeian Rock is a great lookout, suspended high on a sandstone buttress, with circular patterns under foot. The view from the lookout extends from Kings Tableland on the left, to the 'back' of the Three Sisters and into Jamison Valley on the right. There are also great views across to Mount Solitary, Narrow Neck Plateau and the Ruined Castle. The name is derived from the Roman 'Tarpeian Rock', a steep cliff rocky point overlooking the Roman forum that was used as a place to execute people. Thankfully, this Tarpeian Rock has a much more peaceful feel about it.

On returning from this side trip veer right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 15 m (at the intersection of Prince Henry Cliff Walk & Tarpeian Rock Access Walk) turn right, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 120 m pass a "Bridal Veil Falls Track" (on your left)., has a backrest.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Bridal Veil View. To start this optional side trip veer left here. On returning from this side trip error >360 when you get back to this intersection. Details below. From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk turn right, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 105 m pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT East - 07" (on your left)., has a backrest. After another 15 m find the "The Rock" (8 m on your left). The Rock The Rock is a small, partially-fenced lookout, about 10 metres from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk near Bridal Veil Falls. The old timber fence only partially covers the cliff line and the walk to the lookout can be slippery. The view from the lookout includes close-up views of the crowns of several trees. There is no view of Bridal Veil Falls, but the view does extend across to the cliffs at Bridal View Lookout. After another 6 m pass a "The Rocks Lookout" (20 m on your left). After another 45 m (from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk) continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 135 m cross the bridge (about 4 m long) After another 75 m pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT East - 06" (5 m on your left). After another 110 m come to the viewpoint (about 80 m ahead).
	At the intersection of Leura Cascades Round Walk & Prince Henry Cliff Walk turn sharp left, to head along Leura Cascades Round Walk. After another 15 m head down the 27 earthen steps (about 50 m long) After another 15 m head down the 38 earthen steps (about 50 m long) Then cross the bridge (about 35 m long) After another 35 m pass the shelter (10 m on your right). Then come to the viewpoint (10 m on your right). Then find the "Leura Cascades" (on your right). Leura Cascades Leura Cascades is a lovely set of waterfalls with some bridges just below, allowing walkers to get up close to the creek. The area has a nice feel about it and is quite cool in summer. Much of the track near the cascades has handrails and the bridges are fenced. Allow some time to enjoy life among the cascades and fern trees in this valley. One bridge leads to a sandstone cave next to the pool and falls, a great place to enjoy the small section of canyon. Then cross the bridge (about 3 m long) After another 55 m come to the "Leura Cascades". Then pass the "Bridal Veil Falls" (about 15 m ahead). Then pass the "Weeping Rock" (75 m on your left). Then head up the 66 earthen steps (about 30 m long) Then pass a "Round Walk" (on your right). Then head up the 11 metal steps (about 4 m long) Then come to the viewpoint. Then head up the 19 metal steps (about 4 m long) Then find the "Majestic Lookout" (about 15 m ahead). Majestic Lookout Majestic Lookout is a fenced lookout on a side track from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, just above Leura Cascades. The lookout provides great (perhaps even majestic) views out through the top of the valley, with Mount Solitary nicely framed by the cliff line. The closest access to the lookout is from Leura Cascades Picnic Area, and is visited as part of the Leura Cascades Circuit.
	After another 25 m (at the intersection of Leura Cascades Round Walk & Amphitheatre Track) veer right, to head along Leura Cascades Round Walk. After another 30 m head up the 83 steps (about 40 m long) After another 7 m pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT East - 04" (35 m on your right). After another 100 m pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT East - 03" (15 m on your right). After another 10 m head up the 29 steps (about 20 m long) After another 20 m come to the viewpoint (about 30 m ahead). After another 8 m head up the 6 steps (about 3 m long) Then head up the 8 metal steps (about 4 m long) Then cross the bridge (about 10 m long) After another 15 m head up the 14 metal steps (about 4 m long)
	After another 50 m (from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk) veer right, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 7 m find the "Bridal Veil Lookout" (40 m on your left). Bridal Veil Lookout Bridal Veil Lookout provides a great views over Leura Forest and the Jamison Valley. Mount Solitary stands proudly in the distance. In keeping with its name, there are views of Bridal Veil Falls to the east. There is a small bench seat, but no shade.
	After another 6 m (from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk) continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 45 m find the "Fossil Rock" (on your right). Fossil Rock Fossil Rock is a fenced lookout along Prince Henry Cliff Walk, near Katoomba. The lookout is close to Cliff Drive and gives great views along the Jamison Valley and over Mount Solitary, and along the far end of Kings Tableland. The sandstone floor of the lookout is mostly natural and has a few steps cut in it. The rock provides some natural sculptures to enjoy. After another 7 m pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT East - 02" (on your left)., has a backrest.
	From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk turn right, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk (a steps). Then head up the 48 earthen steps (about 25 m long) Then pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT East - 01" (on your right)., has a backrest.
	From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk turn left (a footpath). After another 15 m come to the "Kiah Lookout" (5 m on your left). After another 6 m pass the sign (5 m on your left). After another 55 m find the "Solitary Kiosk and Restaurant" (6 m on your right). Solitary Kiosk and Restaurant Solitary Restaurant offers fine dining in a heritage-listed building overlooking the beautiful Jamison Valley, as well as housing a kiosk for a more casual lunch. The kiosk is open for lunch 7 days a week, from 10am to 4pm (opens 11am weekdays in winter). The kiosk provides a casual dinning experience, with breakfast foods from $10 and lunches around $15 per dish. The restaurant is open for lunch 7 days from 12-4.30pm, and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm. Light lunches start from $14, and dinners from $55 for a mouth-watering 2 course meal. Then head down the 17 steps (about 5 m long) Then pass the sign (on your left). Then come to the "Echo Tree Lookout" (20 m on your left). Then pass a "Echo Tree Lookout" (about 20 m ahead). After another 20 m come to the "Flat Top Lookout" (15 m on your left). After another 65 m pass the picnic table (55 m on your right).
	After another 4 m (at the intersection of Prince Henry Cliff Walk & Federal Pass) continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 10 m pass a "Fern Bower WT - 01" (9 m on your left)., has a backrest. After another 20 m find the "Jamieson Lookout" (30 m on your left). Jamieson Lookout Jamieson Lookout is a fenced lookout at the east end of the Federal Pass track, and just off Prince Henry Cliff Walk. The lookout has a bench seat and provides great views up the Jamison Valley, along Kings Tableland escarpment and past Mount Solitary. The lookout is perched up on a large rock buttress, giving views unobscured by trees. Then pass the "Federal Pass" (20 m on your left). After another 120 m find the "Carrington Park" (25 m on your right). Carrington Park Carrington Park is a medium-sized park on a traffic island, at the junction of Cliff Road and Merriwa St, Katoomba. The park is partially fenced and has a picnic shelter, picnic tables, garbage bins and children's play equipment. After another 20 m pass the picnic table (40 m on your right). After another 20 m pass the "Carrington Park" (25 m on your right). Then pass the playground (45 m on your right). From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk veer left, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 185 m find the "Fern Bower" (70 m on your left). Fern Bower Fern Bower is an especially pleasant part of the Blue Mountains National Park, protected from heat and providing a great environment for fern trees, bracken ferns and moss to thrive. Fern Bower is a signposted area along the Federal Pass walking track, just below Jamieson Lookout and next to Linda Creek. This is a nice place to stop, rest and enjoy the bird noises.
	From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk turn right, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Then pass a "Burrabarroo Lookout WT" (15 m on your left). After another 100 m find the "Burrabarroo Lookout" (35 m on your left). Burrabarroo Lookout This small, fenced lookout is just off the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, near Carrington Park. The view looks over the valley and out to Sublime Point and Kings Tablelands in the distance. The lookout is perched on the top of a rocky buttress at the end of a small point, giving great views. After another 40 m pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT West - 02" (on your right). After another 250 m find the "Lomandra Lookout" (10 m on your right). Lomandra Lookout Lomandra Lookout is a fenced lookout along Prince Henry Cliff Walk, near Katoomba. Unlike other lookouts in the area, there are no sweeping distant views, but atop this cliff there is a great close-up view of the canopy of the surrounding bush. There is a bench seat on the rock platform, making a nice place for a rest. After another 195 m cross the bridge (about 2 m long) Then come to the "Banskia Lookout" (25 m on your left). After another 205 m find the "Honeymoon Lookout" (20 m on your right). Honeymoon Lookout Honeymoon Lookout is a fenced lookout on Cliff Drive, just north of Katoomba High School. There is a short track that links this lookout to Prince Henry Cliff Walk. There is a bus stop at the lookout. The area is shaded by a few trees and provides views out to Sublime Point and Kings Tableland.
	After another 6 m (from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk) continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 7 m come to the "Honeymoon Lookout". After another 20 m pass the car park (20 m on your right). After another 75 m pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT West - 04" (8 m on your left). After another 170 m (from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk) continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 125 m find the "Millamurra Lookout" (6 m on your left). Millamurra Lookout Millamurra Lookout is on a fenced, elevated rock platform on the side of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. There are views of the Jamison Valley, including the Leura Falls Creek and Sublime Point. There is also a great view along the Kings Tableland escarpment to the right. After another 55 m find the "Silver Mist Picnic Area" (75 m on your right). Silver Mist Picnic Area Silver Mist Picnic area is a small park on Cliff Drive (opposite the end of Forester Drive). There is some parking on the dirt strip to the north or closer to the school. The park is lined with nice hedges and has a few open areas.
	From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 9 m pass a seat (on your right).
	From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk turn right, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 25 m find the "Tallawarra Lookout" (on your left). Tallawarra Lookout Tallawarra Lookout is a small, fenced lookout near Silver Mist Picnic Area, along Prince Henry Cliff walk. The lookout provides an excellent view of Sublime Point and Kings Tableland. Leura Falls and Gordon Creek both flow through the valley below. There are a few bench seats just near the lookout. (Note: the lookout is marked as 'Tallawalla Lookout' on some maps.) After another 70 m pass the picnic table (30 m on your right). After another 120 m pass a "Lady Carrington Lookout" (about 20 m ahead). Then pass the "Prince Henry Cliff Walk" (on your right). After another 7 m find the "Lady Carrington Lookout" (8 m on your left). Lady Carrington Lookout Lady (Cecelia) Carrington was wife of Lord (Charles Robert Wynne) Carrington. The couple explored parts of the Blue mountains in the late 1800's and had a number of places named in their honour. Lady Carrington Lookout is long, narrow and fenced (twice). The lookout is perched up on a sandstone block and provides views over Jamison Valley. After another 265 m find the "Seat" (about 40 m ahead). Seat A curved seat below a small sandstone overhang/cave. The seat has no backrest and is 49cm high, 42cm deep and about 2m long. The seats have a chiselled sandstone finish. Then find the "Oreades Lookout" (about 65 m ahead). Oreades Lookout Oreades Lookout is a fenced timber platform lookout beside the Three Sisters walk. There are great views of Mount Solitary and the Jamison Valley. There are filtered views to the Three Sisters, if you are sitting in a wheelchair, or if shorter then the handrails the views are limited.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Honeymoon Bridge Lookout. To start this optional side trip veer left here. On returning from this side trip veer left when you get back to this intersection. Details below. From the Prince Henry Cliff Walk turn right, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 55 m pass a "Three Sisters WT Sth" (5 m on your left)., has no backrest. Then find the "Seat" (on your right). Seat Two seats opposite a signposted intersection on a flat loose gravel platform. They have no backrest and are 53cm high, 47cm deep and about 1.5m long. The seats have a rough chiselled sandstone finish. After another 220 m pass the "Parking Echo Point" (25 m on your right). After another 30 m pass a "Spooners Lookout - 02" (70 m on your left)., has no backrest. Then find the "Trip Hazard" (75 m on your left). Trip Hazard A particularly steep section of path greater than 6% (less than 1:12) approximately 25m long. Then find the "Spooners Lookout" (75 m on your left). Spooners Lookout Spooners Lookout in the Blue Mountains National Park provides stunning views over the Jamison Valley to Mt Solitary and the Three Sisters. The lookout has a large seat, is well fenced, and provides filtered views for people sitting in a wheelchair After another 45 m pass the shelter (15 m on your right).
	From the Three Sisters Track veer left (a highway\|pedestrian). After another 15 m pass a seat (20 m on your right)., has a backrest. Then pass the toilet (35 m on your right). This toilet is wheelchair accessible. Then find the "Echo Point Information Centre" (9 m on your left). Echo Point Information Centre This modern building at Echo Point is a great source of information. It is open daily from 9am-5pm (except Christmas Day). There is a large range of books, maps and information about the area (and ice creams). There are toilets opposite the entrance, and mobility parking opposite. For more information, phone 1300 653 408. After another 20 m pass the car park (20 m on your right). Then pass the water tap (20 m on your right).
	After another 4 m continue straight. After another 20 m come to the "Spooners Lookout" (70 m on your left). Then pass a seat (4 m on your right)., has no backrest. After another 20 m come to the "Prince of Wales Lookout" (25 m on your left).
	From the Gathering Place continue straight (a footpath). Then pass a seat (5 m on your right)., has no backrest. After another 9 m find the "Seat" (4 m on your right). Seat Large concrete seat, no backrest. The seat is 40cm high, 1.5m deep and about 5.5m long. The height and depth vary slightly along the length.
	After another 7 m turn left. After another 30 m pass a seat (about 6 m ahead). Then find the "Queen Elizabeth Lookout" (about 15 m ahead). Queen Elizabeth Lookout Queen Elizabeth Lookout offers a breathtaking outlook, directly over the Three Sisters rock formation, and into the Jamison Valley. One of a number of viewing platforms at Echo Point, this platform is slightly lower than the more popular road-side area, however it is wheelchair-accessible, also offering some shade and seating. The platform was officially named in 1955, after a visit from Queen Elizabeth II the preceding year. Then pass a seat (7 m on your left). After another 8 m find the "Echo Point" (8 m on your left). Echo Point Echo Point is the Blue Mountains' most famous lookout, home to one of the best photo opportunities for the Three Sisters. Visited by over two million tourists each year, this popular spot also serves as the starting point for numerous bush walks of various grades, securing its position as one of the most popular locations in the Blue Mountains.
	After another 2 m continue straight. After another 25 m pass a seat (5 m on your right). After another 90 m come to the "Queen Elizabeth Lookout" (6 m on your right). 	After another 85 m (from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk) turn left, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 15 m find the "Lady Darley Lookout" (on your left). Lady Darley Lookout Lady Darley Lookout is a moderately-sized, fenced lookout, found on the Prince Henry Cliff Track. The lookout can also be accessed directly by a track from Panorama Drive. There is an information sign describing the view and the traditional naming of the natural features. The panoramic views from the lookout are great, from Kings Tableland on the left to Mount Solitary, Narrow Neck and parts of Scenic World on the far right. After another 190 m pass a "Allambie Lookout" (on your left). After another 9 m find the "Allambie Lookout" (on your left). Allambie Lookout Allambie Lookout is a small, fenced lookout on the side of the Prince Henry Cliff Track. The lookout provides an opportunity to enjoy the valley view and the sights of the Three Sisters, Kings Tablelands and Mount Solitary. After another 50 m come to the "Little Milou Lookout" (7 m on your left). After another 90 m pass a "Wollumai Lookout" (on your left)., has a backrest. After another 40 m find the "Wollumai Lookout" (on your left). Wollumai Lookout Wollumai Lookout is a small, fenced lookout on the side of the Prince Henry Cliff Track. The lookout is on a sandstone platform at the base of a cliff, and looks over a much larger drop into the Jamison Valley. There is a bench seat to enjoy the views over the valley, including Mount Solitary, Narrow Neck and glimpses of the Three Sisters. Then pass a "Prince Henry Cliff WT East - 11" (on your left)., has a backrest. After another 230 m find the "Cliff View Lookout" (on your right). Cliff View Lookout This large, fenced wheelchair accessible lookout provides great mountain views of Mt Solitary, Kedumba Valley, Narrow Neck and across to Scenic World. There's a bench seat at the back of the lookout to enjoy the views from. The lookout fence is 1.2m high, the platform is 7.8x5.5m wide. After another 35 m find the "Skyway Station" (20 m on your right). Skyway Station The Scenic Skyway is a cable car that bridges the 720-metre gap across the valley, in front of Katoomba Falls. This is the remote station, with the main station based at Scenic World. Visitors can travel one way, in either direction (Adult $10 child $5) or take a return trip (Adult $16 child $8), with family discounts available. The Skyway enjoys a full 360-degree view, with a glass floor allowing you to look straight down at the trees 270m below. This is a spectacular and popular attraction for visitors to the area and is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
	After another 4 m (at the intersection of Prince Henry Cliff Walk & access to Prince Henry Cliff Walk) continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk. After another 20 m pass the "Katoomba Falls" (70 m on your left). Then come to the viewpoint (75 m on your left). After another 15 m pass the "Katoomba Falls" (70 m on your left). After another 85 m find the "Kedumba River lookout" (80 m on your left). Kedumba River lookout This unnamed, fenced lookout is at the bend in the track along Kedumba River, at the top of Katoomba Falls. The lookout gives great views across the valley to Mount Solitary and Narrow Neck. There are also glimpses of the Katoomba Falls as it drops away, far into the valley below. After another 90 m find the "Katoomba Cascades" (65 m on your left). Katoomba Cascades Popular with locals and visitors alike, these picturesque cascades are on the Kedumba River. The cascades are nestled in the bend on Cliff Drive, near Katoomba Park. There are stepping stones across the creek at the bottom of the falls and a bench seat in the shade. There are a few small clearings where visitors can sit and enjoy the falls. Then pass a seat (40 m on your left)., has a backrest.
	After another 35 m (from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk) continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk.
	After another 20 m (from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk) continue straight. After another 15 m pass the "Katoomba Cascades" (55 m on your left). After another 15 m pass the car park (6 m on your right). After another 10 m find the "Katoomba Falls Park" (25 m on your left). Katoomba Falls Park The Katoomba Falls Picnic area and park is found at the corner of 'Katoomba Falls Rd' and 'Cliff Dr', Katoomba. The south and western edge of the park is lined with a fence protecting the small Kedumba River, just above Katoomba Cascades. There is a fenced (1.2m high) viewing platform at the top of the cascades, and a smooth/flat conrete footpath leading to it. The park is also home to a series of 8 picnic tables. The Bridal Veil View is a small, fenced lookout at the base of a flight of stairs in the south-west corner of Leura. The lookout has a natural sandstone floor and provides superb, unobstructed view of the Bridal Veil Falls. The falls are about 150m away, and looking down from the top, the Bridal Veil likeness is apparent. The falls run most of the time, but are most spectacular after rain.

Then head down the 32 surface\|paving_stones steps (about 55 m long) Then pass a "Three Sisters WT Nth" (on your right)., has no backrest. Then find the "Lady Game Lookout" (on your left). Lady Game Lookout Lady Game Lookout is a narrow, fenced lookout above the Three Sisters. The track to this lookout starts just near the archway which marks the start of the Giant Staircase. Lady Game Lookout provides a bird's-eye view over the Three Sisters and is a popular stop whilst exploring the area. After another 8 m head down the steps (about 30 m long) About 65 m past the end is a viewpoint. Then cross the bridge (about 7 m long) Then pass a "Giant Stairway WT - 06" (55 m on your left)., has a backrest. Then come to "Honeymoon Bridge Lookout". About 15 m past the end is "Meehni". The Three Sisters This well-known rock formation can be found just south of Katoomba, and can be viewed from many of the cliffside lookouts, from Narrow Neck all the way around to Sublime Point. Historically, this formation appears in Aboriginal 'Dream Time' stories, where three sisters were transformed into stone. This iconic rock formation is popular amongst tourists and bushwalkers alike. About 60 m past the end is "Wimlah".

  Closed areas: Bowtells Swing Bridge on the Six Foot Track closed for maintenance
  Bowtells Swing Bridge on the Six Foot Track at Katoomba is closed for bridge maintenance works from 19th May to 20th May 2025 inclusive.

  Closed areas: Parts of Blue Mountains National Park closed
  Many roads, fire trails and walking tracks in Blue Mountains National Park are closed due to infrastructure upgrades or damage caused by wet weather including subsidence, rockfalls, landslides and fallen trees.
  The following tracks are closed:
  Katoomba and Leura
  
  Giant Stairway is closed from Monday 28 April for maintenance. There is no access in or out of the valley via Giant Stairway. Alternate access is via Furber Steps or Amphitheatre track.
  
  Honeymoon Bridge is closed due to rockfall risk.
  
  Prince Henry Cliff walk (part of Grand Cliff Top walk) is closed between Gordon Falls picnic area and Elysian Rock lookout, due to a landslide. Visit the Blue Mountains City Council website for information. Detours will also be in place via Olympian Parade.
  
  Gordon Falls picnic area is closed due to upgrades. Detours for walking tracks are in place. Visit the Blue Mountains City Council website for information.
  
  Fern Bower track between Prince Henry Cliff walk and Amphitheatre track is closed due to landslides. Access to Leura Forest and Jamison Valley is via Amphitheatre track.
  
  Golden Stairs walking track is closed due to landslides and rock fall. There is no access from Glenraphael Drive to Ruined Castle, Federal Pass or Scenic World. Ruined Castle and Mt Solitary can be accessed from Federal Pass (via Furber Steps) or Kedumba Pass.
  
  Lone Lyrebird track is closed between Gordon Road and the War Memorial, due to subsidence. Detour is in place.
  
  Part of Lindeman Pass is closed due to a major landslide below Gladstone lookout. Roberts Pass is closed due to rockfall and landslide hazards.
  
  Six Foot track is affected by closures at Jenolan Caves.
  
  Wentworth Falls and Woodford
  
  Charles Darwin walk (part of Grand Cliff Top walk) is closed between Fletcher Street and Weeping Rock. Detours are in place to provide directions to Wentworth Falls picnic area. Visit the Blue Mountains City Council website for information.
  
  Part of National Pass (west of Wentworth Falls middle crossing) is closed due to a major landslide and ongoing risks.
  
  Wentworth Pass and Slack Stairs are closed due to multiple landslides. No access to Roberts Pass and Vera Falls. Valley of the Waters track is closed below Sylvia Falls.
  
  Blackheath, Mount Victoria, Megalong Valley and Bells Line of Road
  
  Pulpit Rock Reserve, lookouts and walking track are closed. For more information visit the Blue Mountains City Council website. Pulpit Rock walking track from Popes Glen is open as far as the NPWS boundary (as shown on Google maps).
  
  Govetts descent and Rodriguez Pass are closed due to rockfalls and landslides. The Grose Valley can be accessed from Blackheath via Perrys Lookdown or the Horse track.
  
  Pierces Pass road and picnic area will be closed for road maintenance from Monday to Friday 5th-9th and 12th-16th of May, 2025. Parking will be available at Walls Lookout carpark and all walking tracks remain open and are accessible from Walls Lookout carpark. The road will remain open over weekends.
  
  Adventure recreation, canyons, abseiling and rock climbing
  
  Some adventure recreation areas and routes may be closed where the access or exit road/track is mentioned above.

  Other planned events: Notice of 1080 aerial baiting program
  NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an aerial baiting program in Blue Mountains National Park from Monday 19th May – Sunday 1st June 2025.
  The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes.
  The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise the impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
  Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

  Closed areas: Burralow Creek Campground closed
  Burralow Creek campground and picnic area will be closed from 28 April to 15 May 2025 for upgrade works to Bulcamatta Falls walking track.

  Euroka walking track in Blue Mountains National Park is closed for track repairs from Monday 1 February to Monday 30 June 2025.

  Safety alerts: Remote walking track conditions
  Remote routes within the Kanangra Wilderness Area including Kanangra to Katoomba (K2K) trail have been impacted by heavy fire regrowth and flood damage.
  In some places, tracks are no longer visible and are not easy to navigate, taking longer to traverse than expected. Limited to zero water sources are currently available along routes.
  If you plan to walk in the area, please ensure you have an appropriate level of experience, navigation skills and equipment including Personal Locator Beacon (PLB).
  Mobile reception is limited so alternative communication methods are strongly recommended.
