Albany Wind Farm to Mutton Bird Lookout

Starting from Albany Wind Farm Car Park, Sandpatch, this walk takes you to Mutton Bird Lookout via Bibbulmun Track. This one-way walk allows visitors to enjoy the panoramic views of the coastline, Shelter and Mutton Bird islands, and fields of wildflowers. It is a gem for adventurers who want to experience serenity with less effort. The Sandpatch campsite has the required facilities for a cup of drink and lunch. The walk is suitable for most; the path is formed, and there are only gentle hilly sections. Let us begin by acknowledging the Minang people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the car park along Sand Patch Road (in front of the Weather/Information Shelter), head towards the concrete stairs. Head up the stairs and head gently uphill along the track. About 120 metres in, veer/turn left at the 3-way intersection to continue along Albany Wind Farm to Mutton Bird Lookout Track.....

	After another 1.8 km (from the Bibbulmun Track) continue straight, to head along Bibbulmun Track. After another 20 m (from the Bibbulmun Track) continue straight, to head along Bibbulmun Track.
	After another 2 km (from the Bibbulmun Track) continue straight, to head along Bibbulmun Track. After another 600 m (at the intersection of Bibbulmun Track & Mutton Bird Road) continue straight, to head along Bibbulmun Track. After another 1.2 km come to the "Mutton Bird Lookout" (about 30 m ahead).
	From the Bibbulmun Track turn sharp left (a vehicle track). After another 9 m come to the end.
