	After another 330 m find the "Totadgin Rock" (on your left). Totadgin Rock Totadgin Rock Totadgin Rock is an inselberg, or "island mountain", surrounded by a nature reserve comprising woodland and heathland. The reserve has a diverse range of flora that is endemic to the granite outcrops, salt lake country and sand plains around Merredin. Totadgin Rock is also home to bird species such as the Southern Boobook, White-eared Honeyeater, Weebill, Chestnut-rumped Thornbill, Blue-breasted Fairy-wren and Southern Scrub-robin. + - Totadgin Rock is an inselberg, or "island mountain", surrounded by a nature reserve comprising woodland and heathland. 	After another 390 m find the "Mini Wave Rock" (on your right). Mini Wave Rock Mini Wave Rock The eastern side of the large granite outcrop features a wave formation similar to the more famous Wave Rock in Hyden, only less developed and much smaller. These wave-like formations are caused by the chemical weathering of bedrock by groundwater. 	After another 220 m veer right. Then find the "Hunt's Well" (on your left). Hunt's Well Hunt's Well The stone-lined Hunt's Well is one of a series of watering points developed by explorer and surveyor Charles Cooke Hunt throughout the area. Between 1864 and 1866, C.C. Hunt led expeditions east of York to discover, map and develop water sources that would ensure a reliable supply to as far as the Hampton Plains. Hunt recorded the name for this rock in October of 1864 during his second expedition, referring to it as Totadgin, an aboriginal word of unknown origin. In early 1865, his party of probation prisoners constructed a well at the base of the rock.
