Getting started
From the car park, this walk heads past the gate and the information signs, and down the management trail. This goes steadily downhill, with occasional steep sections, until reaching the bottom of this valley and a small creek, just before a large clearing. (The management trail in this section is in disrepair. In several sections, the trail has large trees going across the track and it is therefore necessary to climb over these or walk around them.)....

	From the Canyon Walk Start (a walking track). Then head through the bollard. After 910 m come to the camp site (about 20 m ahead).
	From the Canyon Walk turn right, to head along Canyon Walk.
	After another 500 m (at the intersection of Deep Pass Canyon Walk & Canyon Walk) turn right, to head along Deep Pass Canyon Walk.
	After another 570 m (at the intersection of Canyon Walk & Deep Pass Canyon Walk) turn right, to head along Canyon Walk.
	Continue another 500 m to find from the Canyon Walk at the end.

  Closed areas: Area closed for ground shooting for feral animal control
  Some areas in Wollemi National Park and Comleroy Flora Reserve will be closed between 4:00pm and 6:00am, from Monday 28 April 2025 to Friday 30 May 2025 inclusive, for a feral deer management program.
  
  This program is part of our ongoing efforts to reduce the significant impact of deer on native plants and animals, including threatened species.
  
  The control method will involve use of firearms by qualified and experienced contractors and staff.
  
  Closures will not apply on weekends or public holidays during this period.

  Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

  NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an ongoing ground baiting program from 1 November 2024 to 30 April 2025. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of foxes.
  The program will take place in Wollemi National Park specifically the Canobla Gap Trail and Capertee River Trail areas in the Capertee Valley.
  The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species including the Brush Tailed Wallaby, and to minimise impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
  Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location.
