Directions	From Pacific Highway, A43 Turn on to Scenic Drive, A49 then drive for 3.8 km At roundabout, take exit 2 onto Scenic Drive, A49 and drive for another 1.3 km At roundabout, take exit 3 onto Scenic Drive, A49 and drive for another 1.4 km At roundabout, take exit 2 onto Budgewoi Road, A49 and drive for another 3.4 km At roundabout, take exit 2 onto Wilfred Barrett Drive, A49 and drive for another 3.1 km

Getting started
From the car park on the Central Coast Hwy, aka Wilfred Barret Dr (about 7km north of The Entrance bridge, and about 3km south of the intersection with Main Rd, Noraville. Signposted 'Wyrrabalong National Park'), the walk passes through the timber fence, passing an information board, to the left, and a picnic table, to the right, and follows the sandy management trail. After a very short distance, the trail arrives at the intersection of the 'Red Gum Trail' and the 'Burrawang Walking Track'.....

	At the intersection of Wilfred Barrett Drive & Red Gum Trail Start heading along Red Gum Trail (a vehicle track). After 50 m head through/around the gate. After another 25 m to find the car park. Continue straight, to head along Red Gum Trail. After another 20 m pass the sign (on your left).
	After another 10 m (at the intersection of Red Gum Trail & Burrawang Walking Track) veer right, to head along Red Gum Trail.
	After another 470 m (at the intersection of Wetland Trail & Red Gum Trail) turn left, to head along Red Gum Trail.
	After another 620 m turn left, to head along Red Gum Trail. After another 540 m pass a seat (7 m on your right). Then find the "Redgum lookout" (5 m on your right). Redgum lookout This unnamed lookout is in the Wyrrabalong National park, north of The Entrance and provides views to the north across part of Tuggerah Lake and Toukley. The lookout is on the Redgum Trail and consists of a fenced wooden platform with a seat. This is a nice, atmospheric spot to take a break on the walk. After another 750 m find the "Tuggerah Lake lookout" (6 m on your right). Tuggerah Lake lookout This unnamed lookout provides views across Tuggerah Lake, north of The Entrance. The lookout is on the Redgum Trail and consists of a fenced wooden platform with a seat. the beautiful views and atmosphere make this a great spot for a break during a walk in the area. After another 8 m pass a seat (10 m on your right).
	After another 325 m (at the intersection of Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail & Red Gum Trail) veer left, to head along Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail.
	After another 195 m (at the intersection of Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail & Burrawang Walking Track) continue straight, to head along Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail.
	After another 420 m continue straight, to head along Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail.
	After another 720 m continue straight, to head along Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail. After another 830 m find the "Lilly Pilly loop rainforest" (30 m on your right). Lilly Pilly loop rainforest This area of littoral rainforest is on the Lilly Pilly loop walk, in Wyrrabalong National Park, north of The Entrance. This small remnant of rainforest is dominated by cabbage palms, corkwoods and tuckeroos. There are nice views across Tuggerah lake from the edge of the forest as well. Then find the "Tuggerah Lake vista" (15 m on your left). Tuggerah Lake vista This informal, unnamed spot at the edge of Tuggerah Lake, north of The Entrance, has beautiful views across the lake. These views, combined with the nearby area of rainforest, provide beautiful scenery on walks in the area.
	After another 960 m (at the intersection of Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail & Red Gum Trail) veer right, to head along Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail.
	After another 195 m (at the intersection of Lilly Pilly Loop Link Trail & Burrawang Walking Track) turn left, to head along Burrawang Walking Track (a walking track).
	After another 910 m (at the intersection of Red Gum Trail & Burrawang Walking Track) veer right, to head along Red Gum Trail (a vehicle track).
	After another 30 m continue straight, to head along Red Gum Trail.
	After another 25 m come to the end.

Redgum lookout

- Wyrrabalong National Park alerts
  Closed areas: Track Repairs and Temporary Closures
  The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be undertaking repairs to The Coast Track between Crackneck Point Lookout and Wyrrabalong Lookout between the 28th April 2025 to 2nd July 2025.
  The track will need to be closed to the public for a period between these dates while works are undertaken to ensure the safety of visitors.
  The track repairs will focus on eroded sections of the track by repairing the track surface, demolishing and replacing retaining walls, and improving drainage to enhance visitor safety, reduce maintenance, and minimise erosional impacts on the surrounding environment.

  Closed areas: Periodic closures of Wyrrabalong National Park (North) for fox control shooting operation
  Parts of Wyrrabalong National Park (North) may be closed within a date range of Wednesday 1st January 2025 to Friday 2nd May 2025 for fox control night shoot operations preventing localised economic impacts and protecting biodiversity assets within the park.
  When active, the shoot operation area will be delignated by signage advising visitors “do not enter” at any time during the night-time operation.
  Penalties apply for non-compliance.
