Getting started
From the front of the visitor center, this walk heads gently uphill, following the 'Three Sister walk' sign. The walk soon passes the toilet block and veers right to pass under the stone archway and come to an intersection with a path (on the right) just past the 'Blue Mountains National Park' sign.....

	Start. Find the Echo Park at the start.
	After another 10 m continue straight. Then pass the water tap (30 m on your left). Then find the "Parking Accessible" (30 m on your left). Parking Accessible There are three signposted mobility parking spaces. They are 3.8m wide and 5.5 deep. Smooth gentle ramp access from the parking area nearby facilities. Then pass the toilet (30 m on your left). Then find the "Toilet Accessible" (20 m on your left). Toilet Accessible Accessible unisex toilet and parents change room. MLAK key access, although gate may be locked after hours. Toilet has hand rails, there is a basin with soap and running water, mirror and baby change table. After another 30 m find the "Echo Point Information Centre" (15 m on your right). Echo Point Information Centre This modern building at Echo Point is a great source of information. It is open daily from 9am-5pm (except Christmas Day). There is a large range of books, maps and information about the area (and ice creams). There are toilets opposite the entrance, and mobility parking opposite. For more information, phone 1300 653 408. Then pass the "Parking Echo Point" (30 m on your left). After another 10 m pass the "Katoomba Tourist Information Centre" (on your right). After another 70 m find the "Spooners Lookout" (105 m on your right). Spooners Lookout Spooners Lookout in the Blue Mountains National Park provides stunning views over the Jamison Valley to Mt Solitary and the Three Sisters. The lookout has a large seat, is well fenced, and provides filtered views for people sitting in a wheelchair Continue straight. After another 60 m find the "Seat" (on your left). Seat A curved sandstone seat beside the walking track. It has no backrest and it is 40cm high, 52cm deep and about 3.7m long. The seat has a rough chiselled sandstone finish. There is a small statue of a lizard on the end of the seat.
	After another 115 m veer left. After another 15 m find the "Seat" (on your right). Seat Two seats opposite a signposted intersection on a flat loose gravel platform. They have no backrest and are 53cm high, 47cm deep and about 1.5m long. The seats have a rough chiselled sandstone finish.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. An optional side trip to Lady Carrington Lookout. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip continue straight when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 295 m turn left. After another 50 m pass the "Prince Henry Cliff Walk" (on your left). After another 110 m pass the picnic table (45 m on your left). After another 95 m find the "Tallawarra Lookout" (on your right). Tallawarra Lookout Tallawarra Lookout is a small, fenced lookout near Silver Mist Picnic Area, along Prince Henry Cliff walk. The lookout provides an excellent view of Sublime Point and Kings Tableland. Leura Falls and Gordon Creek both flow through the valley below. There are a few bench seats just near the lookout. (Note: the lookout is marked as 'Tallawalla Lookout' on some maps.)
	Turn left.
	After another 6 m veer right. After another 6 m pass a seat (on your left). After another 25 m find the "Silver Mist Picnic Area" (90 m on your left). Silver Mist Picnic Area Silver Mist Picnic area is a small park on Cliff Drive (opposite the end of Forester Drive). There is some parking on the dirt strip to the north or closer to the school. The park is lined with nice hedges and has a few open areas.
	After another 30 m turn left. After another 20 m find the "Millamurra Lookout" (8 m on your right). Millamurra Lookout Millamurra Lookout is on a fenced, elevated rock platform on the side of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. There are views of the Jamison Valley, including the Leura Falls Creek and Sublime Point. There is also a great view along the Kings Tableland escarpment to the right. After another 100 m continue straight. After another 195 m pass a seat (on your right). After another 110 m come to the "Honeymoon Lookout".
	Continue straight. After another 20 m pass a seat (20 m on your left). After another 15 m find the "Honeymoon Lookout" (25 m on your left). Honeymoon Lookout Honeymoon Lookout is a fenced lookout on Cliff Drive, just north of Katoomba High School. There is a short track that links this lookout to Prince Henry Cliff Walk. There is a bus stop at the lookout. The area is shaded by a few trees and provides views out to Sublime Point and Kings Tableland.
	After another 70 m turn left. After another 50 m come to the "Honeymoon Point" (20 m on your right). Then find the "Banksia Lookout" (25 m on your right). Banksia Lookout Banksia Lookout is a fenced lookout along the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, down a few steps from Honeymoon Point. The lookout provides views of Sublime Point and Kings Tableland. The clearing for the old sewage treatment plant, down in the valley on the Sublime Point Trail, is still visible from this lookout. Then find the "Leura Forest" (160 m on your right). Leura Forest Leura Forest is a great picnic area in the Jamison Valley at the junction of the Federal Pass and Dardenelles Tracks. This place was home to a popular tea house (also known as 'Lady Carrington Dining Hall') from the late 1800's. Today walkers can still enjoy the historic rotunda and the foundations of the original tea house. The picnic area provides a great rest spot under the shade of the lilli pilli and coachwood forest. Then pass the shelter (165 m on your right).
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. An optional side trip to Banksia Lookout. To start this optional side trip veer right here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 35 m veer left. After another 125 m pass a seat (on your left). After another 60 m pass a seat (on your left). After another 60 m find the "Lomandra Lookout" (10 m on your left). Lomandra Lookout Lomandra Lookout is a fenced lookout along Prince Henry Cliff Walk, near Katoomba. Unlike other lookouts in the area, there are no sweeping distant views, but atop this cliff there is a great close-up view of the canopy of the surrounding bush. There is a bench seat on the rock platform, making a nice place for a rest. After another 50 m pass a seat (on your left). After another 95 m pass a seat (on your left). After another 105 m pass a seat (on your left).
	After another 110 m turn right. After another 100 m come to a seat. Then find the "Burrabarroo Lookout" (15 m on your right). Burrabarroo Lookout This small, fenced lookout is just off the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, near Carrington Park. The view looks over the valley and out to Sublime Point and Kings Tablelands in the distance. The lookout is perched on the top of a rocky buttress at the end of a small point, giving great views.
	(Burrabarroo Lookout) Continue another 15 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 2.2 km to get back to the start. About 100 m past the end is "Lila Falls".

Echo Point
Echo Point is the Blue Mountains' most famous lookout, home to one of the best photo opportunities for the Three Sisters. Visited by over two million tourists each year, this popular spot also serves as the starting point for numerous bush walks of various grades, securing its position as one of the most popular locations in the Blue Mountains.

Millamurra Lookout
Millamurra Lookout is on a fenced, elevated rock platform on the side of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. There are views of the Jamison Valley, including the Leura Falls Creek and Sublime Point. There is also a great view along the Kings Tableland escarpment to the right.

Banksia Lookout

- Blue Mountains National Park alerts
  Closed areas: Parts of Blue Mountains National Park closed
  Recent heavy rains have caused localised flooding south of Katoomba, Leura and Wentworth Falls. Rivers and Creeks may be impassable. Rockfall, landslides and tree fall could have impacted routes and also be impassable. Visitors may have to return via the route they entered and should plan accordingly.
  Many walking tracks, roads and fire trails within Blue Mountains National Park remain closed following sustained wet weather causing subsidence hazards, major landslides or infrastructure upgrades.

  Honeymoon Bridge is closed due to rockfall risk.
  
  Mount Hay Road is closed from Monday 1 July until 5pm, Friday 5 July 2024 for roadworks. No access to Lockley Pylon, Fortress Ridge and Mt Hay walking tracks.

  Lone Lyrebird track is closed between Gordon Road and the War Memorial, due to subsidence. Detour is in place.

  Part of Lindeman Pass is closed due to a major landslide below Gladstone lookout. Roberts Pass is closed due to rockfall and landslide hazards.
  
  Six-Foot track is affected by multiple road closures.
  
  Wentworth Falls and Woodford
  
  Valley of Waters track is closed below Sylvia Falls. There is no access to Roberts Pass, Vera Falls, Hippocrene Falls or Wentworth Falls from Valley of the Waters.
  
  Charles Darwin walk (part of the Grand Cliff Top walk) is closed between Fletcher Street and Weeping Rock. Detours are in place to provide directions to Wentworth Falls picnic area. Visit the Blue Mountains City Council website for information.
  
  Part of National Pass (west of Wentworth Falls middle crossing) is closed due to a major landslide and ongoing risks.
  
  Wentworth Pass and Slack Stairs are closed due to multiple landslides.
  
  Bedford Creek trail will be closed Monday to Friday from Monday 27 May to Friday 5 July 2024 due to road repairs. There will be no access from Anderson fire trail or Murphies Road to Ingar campground. There is also no exit to Woodford from Andersons fire trail. Trials and campgrounds will be open Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Ingar campground is open on Saturday night only.
  
  Blackheath, Mount Victoria and Bells Line of Road
  
  Grand Canyon and Grand Canyon walking track (including Horse track) will be closed for two weeks from Monday 24 June until Friday 5 July 2024 to allow for track works. The track will be open weekends.
  
  Williams track (Govetts descent) and Rodriguez Pass are closed due to rockfalls and landslides.
  
  Pulpit Rock Reserve, lookouts and walking track are closed. Visit the Blue Mountains City Council website for information. Pulpit Rock walking track from Popes Glen is open as far as the NPWS boundary (as shown on Google maps).
  
  Evans Lookout Road will be closed beyond Grand Canyon carpark from 7am Monday 24 June to Friday 28 June 2024 to allow for road repairs. There will be no vehicle access to Evans lookout during this time. Pedestrians can use the walking track to the lookout which begins at the Grand Canyon carpark toilets.
  
  Adventure recreation, canyons, abseiling and rock climbing
  Some adventure recreation areas and routes are specifically closed where the access or exit road/track is mentioned above.

  Closed areas: Mount Hay Road closed
  Mount Hay Road will be closed f Monday 1 July until 5pm, Friday July 2024 for roadworks.
  No access to Lockley Pylon walking track is available. There is no access to Butterbox Point and Mt Hay walking tracks.

  Closed areas: Prince Henry Cliff Walk - Leura
  Prince Henry Cliff Walk (Grand Cliff Top walk) within Blue Mountains National Park is closed between Leura Cascades and Fern Bower walking track due to major tree fall.   Closed areas: Woodford-Oaks trail closure
  Woodford-Oaks trail is closed on weekdays to all cyclists and pedestrians due to heavy machinery in operation.
  The Oaks and Single tracks will be open to cyclists on weekends, and will fully reopen as soon as works are complete.

  Closed areas: Grand Canyon walking track
  Grand Canyon walking track and canyon within the Blue Mountains National Park will be closed from Monday 24 June until COB Friday 5 July 2024 to allow for track works.
  The track and canyon will remain open on weekends. This closure may affect access to Juggler Canyon.

  Safety alerts: Remote walking track conditions
  Remote routes within the Kanangra Wilderness Area including Kanangra to Katoomba (K2K) trail have been impacted by heavy fire regrowth and flood damage.
  In some places, tracks are no longer visible and are not easy to navigate, taking longer to traverse than expected. Limited to zero water sources are currently available along routes.
  If you plan to walk in the area, please ensure you have an appropriate level of experience, navigation skills and equipment including Personal Locator Beacon (PLB).
  Mobile reception is limited so alternative communication methods are strongly recommended.

  Closed areas: Glenbrook precinct closure
  The Glenbrook precinct will be closed on weekdays for major roadworks, from Monday 29 April to Tuesday 15 October 2024.
  Heavy machinery and vehicles will be in operation from Mondays to Fridays during this period. Access beyond the entry gate will be closed to all vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.

  NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting ongoing ground baiting program from Thursday 2 May 2024 to Friday 1 November 2024 in the following areas:

  The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes.
  The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
  Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

  Waratah Native Gardens picnic area is closed until further notice. This includes Gorge walking track. No access to the area is permitted.

  Bowtells swing bridge on Six Foot track is closed to protect public safety. An upgrade is being planned and the bridge is expected to reopen in May 2024. Signs and barriers are in place to prevent access onto the bridge.
  Crown Lands, which manages the bridge, is advising track users not to attempt to cross Coxs River. Any attempts to cross the river are at your own risk and are discouraged due to the potential for slips or falls, rainfall and risk of flash flooding.
