Starting from Wave Rock Caravan Park, Hyden, this walk takes you on an informative circuit about Aboriginal history and visits salt lakes along the way. The area is quite photogenic because of the impact of salt lakes on the environment. Even though they are detrimental, the dry trees due to excessive levels of salt create an eerie atmosphere that can be exhilarating during the sunrise and sunset. After rainfall, the lakes allow the area to become a watery wonderland as well. The walk is also universally accessible with a flat surface, and cycling is allowed.
