Kondalilla Falls Circuit

Starting from Kondalilla Falls Carpark, Flaxton, this circuit walk takes you to the Kondalilla Falls via a well-maintained track, visiting the same-titled lookout and Obi Valley Lookout as well. Sitting beautifully amidst the rainforest, the waterfall gives you the option to rest or even have a picnic on the flat rocks around it. On top of that, you can also swim at the top of the waterfall and enjoy the panoramic views over the valley. The two lookout points on the track provide you with amazing views of the dense rainforest as well. Don’t forget to keep an ear out for the eastern whipbirds whilst enjoying the serene ambience. With plenty of picnic spots and well-maintained tracks with railings, this can make for a great family trip. Look out for snakes; they may want to sunbathe as well. Come early to avoid the crowd. Let us begin by acknowledging the Gubbi Gubbi people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From Kondalilla Falls Carpark on Kondalilla Falls Road, head towards the green “Kondalilla National Park'' sign along the concrete path. Head along the downhill paved track with low railings next to the said signpost as it leads you into the woodland. After about 365 metres, veer right. Follow the Picnic Creek Circuit Track to continue along the Kondalilla Falls Circuit (counterclockwise). This is the encouraged direction of travel as it features a relatively steadier incline.....

	After another 150 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) continue straight. Then pass the toilet (30 m on your left). After another 25 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) continue straight, to head along Picnic Creek Circuit. After another 135 m cross the bridge (about 10 m long) Then head up the 10 surface\|paving_stones steps (about 9 m long)
	From the Picnic Creek Circuit turn right. Then head down the 23 surface\|paving_stones steps (about 8 m long)
	Then pass the waterfall (8 m on your right). After another 195 m pass a seat (5 m on your right).
	After another 480 m come to the "Obi Valley Lookout" (about 15 m ahead).
	From the Picnic Creek Circuit turn left, to head along Picnic Creek Circuit. After another 75 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) continue straight (a walking track).
	After another 10 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) turn sharp right, to head along Picnic Creek Circuit (a footpath). After another 8 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) continue straight. After another 75 m head down the surface\|paving_stones steps (about 155 m long)
	Continue straight. Then head down the surface\|paving_stones steps (about 50 m long) After another 165 m pass a seat (on your left). After another 6 m come to the "Kondalilla Falls Lookout" (on your left). After another 680 m cross the bridge (about 8 m long)
	After another 280 m continue straight. After another 920 m cross the bridge (about 4 m long) After another 25 m pass the waterfall (15 m on your right). After another 7 m head up the surface\|paving_stones steps (about 170 m long)
	Then pass the "Kondalilla Falls" (40 m on your left).
	After another 20 m turn sharp right. Then head up the surface\|paving_stones steps (about 105 m long)
	After another 75 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) continue straight, to head along Picnic Creek Circuit. After another 8 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) continue straight, to head along Picnic Creek Circuit. Then pass a seat (on your right).
	After another 275 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) veer left, to head along Picnic Creek Circuit. After another 210 m cross the bridge (about 7 m long) After another 75 m cross the bridge (about 5 m long)
	After another 45 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) veer right (a steps). Then head down the 10 surface\|paving_stones steps Then cross the bridge (about 10 m long)
	After another 135 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) continue straight. After another 25 m (from the Picnic Creek Circuit) continue straight, to head along Picnic Creek Circuit.
	Continue another 150 m to find from the Picnic Creek Circuit at the end.
