Getting started
Start walking from Mt Kembla lookout on Cordeaux Road, from under the high tension powelines. Initially keep the views on your right to walking around the locked metal gate then follow the \'Mt Kembla ring track\' signpost into the dense bush.....

	Start. Find the Mt Kembla Summit Park at the start. Then pass the car park (30 m on your left). Then come to the "Mt Kembla Lookout" (60 m on your left). After another 35 m head through/around the gate.
	After another 6 m veer right. After another 75 m pass the sign (6 m on your left).
	After another 1 km turn left.
	After another 910 m veer left. After another 1.3 km head through/around the gate.
	Continue straight.
	After another 470 m continue straight.
	After another 160 m continue straight.
	After another 170 m veer left. After another 410 m pass the "Windy Gully Cemetery" (9 m on your left).
	After another 710 m come to the end.

  Closed areas: Lower Escarpment Fire Trail closured
  The Lower Escarpment Fire Trail is closed while roadworks are underway. Please follow the directions of roadwork signs and NPWS staff.
  Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information, contact the local park office.
  
  Closed areas: IESCA Kembla Heights area is closed for the construction of the Kembla Stage 1 Mountain Bike Network
  Construction works have commenced on the first stage of the Illawarra Escarpment Mountain Bike Project at Kembla Heights.
  Construction is being carried out in accordance with rigorous environmental and cultural heritage planning approvals, the Illawarra Escarpment Mountain Bike Strategy and our Cycling Strategy.
  People are reminded that the area is a closed construction site. Please stay off the tracks until they are opened in mid-2025 for your safety and to allow the network to be completed.

  Roadworks will be underway on fire trails in Illawarra Escarpment State Conservation Area from Tuesday 14 January to Friday 2 May 2025.

  Woodward track (accessed via Sublime Point) is closed due to damage from heavy rainfall events.
