Safer Bushwalks Tips on staying safe on track
Before you start any bushwalk ensure you;
• Tell someone you trust where you are going and what to do if you are overdue
• Have adequate equipment, supplies, skills & knowledge for the whole journey
• Consider the impact of weather forecasts, park/track closures & fire dangers
• Can respond to emergencies & call for help at any point
• Are healthy and fit enough for this journey
If not, change plans and stay safe. It is okay to delay and ask people for help.

Getting There Transport options and directions

Directions	From Summerland Way, The Risk, head north along Gradys Creek Road; After 11.2km, turn right on to Simes Road Gradys Creek. After another 3.2km, turn left on to Forest Road Lynchs Creek. After another 4.7km, continue straight along Tweed Range Scenic Drive Border Ranges. After another 5.8km, come to the trackhead on Tweed Range Scenic Drive Border Ranges.
Finish	At the intersection of Booyong Walk & Sheepstation Creek Road, Border Ranges. (-28.4128077,153.0230891)

Track Notes Turn by turn instructions & maps

	Start (from, Border Ranges) by heading north along Tweed Range Scenic Drive.
	After another 30m, (at the 3-way intersection, with & Booyong Walk) turn left, to follow Booyong Walk. After another 20m you will find the Forest Tops Campground (40m on your right).
	After another 500m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Booyong Walk & Airdrop Road) continue straight, to follow Airdrop Road. After another 5.4km, cross the wooden bridge.
	The starting point of an alternate route. Alternate route via picturesque Rosewood loop. To start this optional alternative route turn sharp right here. Details below. Then almost immediately (at the 3-way intersection, with Airdrop Road & Booyong Walk) continue straight, to follow Booyong Walk. After another 80m, cross the wooden bridge.
	To start this optional alternative route turn sharp right here. Details below. After another 250m, (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on Booyong Walk. After another 200m, cross the wooden bridge.
	After another 800m, (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on Booyong Walk. After another 40m you will find the Brushbox Falls Lookout (40m on your right). After another 40m, pass Brushbox Falls waterfall, a waterfall (20m on your right).
	Then almost immediately (at the 3-way intersection) bear left, to stay on Booyong Walk. After another 100m, cross the wooden bridge, over the Sheep Station Creek. After another 40m, cross the wooden bridge, over the Sheep Station Creek. After another 30m, cross the wooden bridge. After another 40m, cross the wooden bridge, over the Sheep Station Creek. Then head down the steps.
	After another 50m, (at the 3-way intersection) bear left, to stay on Booyong Walk.
	After another 20m, (at the 3-way intersection) bear left, to stay on Booyong Walk. After another 400m, pass a toilet (40m on the left). After another 30m you will find the Sheepstation Creek Campground (40m on the left). Then almost immediately, pass a BBQ (50m ahead).
	Then almost immediately you come to the end at the intersection of Booyong Walk & Sheepstation Creek Road, Border Ranges. You will also find a toiletand a BBQ here.

Alternate route via picturesque Rosewood loop.

	To start this alternative route turn sharp right (from at the intersection of Booyong Walk & Rosewood Loop, Border Ranges) by heading north along Rosewood Loop. After another 550m, cross the creek. Then ford another two times over then next 900m. After another 300m, cross the creek. After another 600m, cross the creek. After another 200m, cross the wooden bridge.
	After another 300m continue straight to finish this alternative route and rejoin the main route at the intersection of Booyong Walk & Rosewood Loop, Border Ranges.

  The Border Loop Lookout and walking track will be closed to all visitors to allow for essential roadworks on the Lions Road.
