	Start heading along Mambray Creek Track. There is a car park (about 65 m back from the start). There is a BBQ (about 20 m back from the start). Find the gate at the start. Find the sign at the start. After another 15 m (at the intersection of Mambray Creek Track & Daveys Gully Walk) continue straight, to head along Mambray Creek Track. After another 7 m (at the intersection of Mambray Creek Track & Baroota Creek Walk) continue straight, to head along Mambray Creek Track.
	After another 45 m (at the intersection of Mambray Creek Track & Mambray Creek Walk) veer left, to head along Mambray Creek Track. After another 245 m (at the intersection of Mambray Creek Track & Hidden Gorge) continue straight, to head along Mambray Creek Track.
	After another 250 m (at the intersection of Mambray Creek Track & Mambray Creek) continue straight, to head along Mambray Creek Track. After another 60 m (at the intersection of Mambray Creek Track & Mambray Creek Walk) continue straight, to head along Mambray Creek Track.
	After another 900 m continue straight. After another 220 m continue straight, to head along Mambray Creek Track. After another 1.3 km pass the water tap (9 m on your right).
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. This optional side trip takes you to Scarfes Hut and Sugar Gum Lookout. To start this optional side trip continue straight here. On returning from this side trip turn sharp right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. At the intersection of Hidden Gorge & Mambray Creek Track continue straight, to head along Hidden Gorge (a walking track).
	After another 270 m (at the intersection of Hidden Gorge & Alligator Creek) continue straight, to head along Alligator Creek.
	After another 290 m continue straight, to head along Hidden Gorge.
	After another 280 m (at the intersection of Hidden Gorge & Alligator Creek) continue straight, to head along Hidden Gorge.
	After another 440 m (at the intersection of Hidden Gorge & Alligator Creek) continue straight, to head along Hidden Gorge.
	After another 520 m (at the intersection of Hidden Gorge & Alligator Creek) continue straight, to head along Hidden Gorge.

	After another 60 m cross the ford. At the intersection of Kingfisher Track & Alligator Creek continue straight, to head along Kingfisher Track.
	After another 210 m cross the ford. At the intersection of Kingfisher Track & Alligator Creek continue straight, to head along Kingfisher Track.
	After another 360 m cross the ford. At the intersection of Kingfisher Track & Alligator Creek continue straight, to head along Kingfisher Track.
	After another 170 m cross the ford. At the intersection of Kingfisher Track & Alligator Creek continue straight, to head along Kingfisher Track.
	After another 160 m cross the ford. At the intersection of Kingfisher Track & Alligator Creek continue straight, to head along Kingfisher Track.
	After another 2.1 km (at the intersection of Kingfisher Track & Fricks Track) continue straight, to head along Kingfisher Track. After another 215 m come to the "Kingfisher Flat Dam" (10 m on your left).
	After another 3.1 km (at the intersection of Kingfisher Track & Ring Route) continue straight, to head along Kingfisher Track.
	After another 125 m turn left. After another 20 m turn right, to head along Alligator Gorge Trail. After another 100 m pass the "Blue Gum Flat Parking" (7 m on your right). After another 770 m pass the toilet (30 m on your left).
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. This optional side trip takes you to Ali Lookout. To start this optional side trip turn left here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. At the intersection of Ali Lookout Walk & Alligator Gorge Trail continue straight (a highway\|). After another 45 m come to the end.

This optional side trip takes you to Scarfes Hut and Sugar Gum Lookout.

	At the intersection of Mambray Creek Track & Hidden Gorge Start heading along Mambray Creek Track (a vehicle track). Find the water tap at the start.
	After another 315 m (at the intersection of Mambray Creek Track & Mount Cavern Trek) continue straight, to head along Mambray Creek Track.
	After another 205 m continue straight, to head along Mambray Creek Track. After another 6 m come to the "Scarfes Hut" (40 m on your right). After another 7 m pass the water tap (50 m on your right). After another 550 m come to "Sugar Gum Lookout".
	The end. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 1.1 km to the main route.

This optional side trip takes you to Ali Lookout.

	At the intersection of Ali Lookout Walk & Alligator Gorge Trail Start heading along Ali Lookout Walk (a footpath). Find the toilet at the start. After another 170 m come to "Ali Lookout".
	Continue another 0 m to find Ali Lookout at the end. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 225 m to the main route.
