My Oooknest for my Mountain Laurel Designs Cuben DuoMid shelter arrived in the post, There is some interest in the Oookworks inner's.
My thoughts are it's well made, the proportions are excellent. Tie out points on the 4 corners could do with a little more strength. Make sure you don't tie these out to tight. I noticed when I first set it up that some of the stitching had come apart at the corners where the carbon struts are sewed onto at the point where the adjusters connect. I will get my sister to re-sew them for me. Not a major deal, but something to keep an eye out if you purchase one of these inners.
The Chikara PU floor is interesting. Very lightweight. I'm not convinced it will keep you dry in a puddle of water, will have to make sure I set this up on high ground where no water pools up. Time will tell if this is the case.
This inner was originally 160.00 pounds, but has recently had a price increase, I noticed it's now listed with the Chikara floor for 205.00 pounds. I purchased mine 2nd hand somewhere from Europe for $220.00 delivered to my door. A very good deal I thought. Love the color. reminds me of my Hilleberg tent.
