Which gets the most use....most suitable for Qld.....is one roomier than the other...does the cuben tarp warm up excessively through the day......?
Cuben tarp. Never touched the superfly since owning the cuben tarp.
Superfly is slightly larger, Length much the same. Width on the Cuben tarp is not so wide as the Superfly.
I love the fact with Cuben I don't have to keep fiddling with it once set. Rain, hail or shine, keeps the same tension, not like the Superfly with it's silnylon.
I tend to only have the tarps pitched just before dark. Unless it's raining or I'm feeling nacked from the days hiking. Often I set the hammock and put the tarp over when needed. I hardly do any overnight hikes during our hot summer months. Mostly the tarps are used in winter.
