Are you in Hobart PH?

Only had a quick set up on my mat but it looks excellent. Got into it and had a few tosses and turns and was far more comfortable to me than a bag. Clipped ip the neck and drawstring and lasted about 5 mins before I could feel myself starting to sweat do it should I should be cosy as this season.
Will post some pics up soon.

How will the straps work with the pad outside the bivy?
I spent on very cold night on Mt Bogong in a Hilleberg Tent with a -9°C/15°F sleeping bag. If you're planning on camping high in winter get a bag thats warmer than that.Giddy_up wrote:Ellobuddha, do you think that 0F is going to be to warm for OZ?. Thats -17c and with a bivyi might be closer to -20c. Reason I ask is I'm looking at winter bags and quilts and I thought something around 10F to 15F or -9c to -12c would have been sufficient for winter, but I am a warmer sleeper. I'm keen to know your thoughts to help with my decision making.
Thanks.
