A SEARCH will resume this morning for a bushwalker missing on Tasmania’s West Coast.
Tasmania Police said the 68-year-old man from Bridgewater went missing near Newell Creek in the Mt Jukes Rd area of Queenstown about 5pm yesterday.
Search and Rescue officers, the Westpac Rescue helicopter and the State Emergency Service will be involved in the search.

A full-scale search is underway near Queenstown on Tasmania's West Coast for a missing bushwalker.
Police say the 68-year-old man from Bridgewater was walking in the area around Newall Creek when he became separated from his partner about 5:00pm.
She raised the alarm soon after.
A wilderness-trained paramedic onboard a rescue helicopter searched the area yesterday evening without success.
This morning, police and SES crews will focus on the area around Mount Jukes Road.
Police said the man was an experienced bushwalker.
