Next generation of hammock tents?Hammock camping seems to be really picking up momentum with walkers around the world. In March we noticed a Kickstarter campaign for a high-tension hammock style tent, in a similar vein to the Tensile tent series. These have the benefit of being used easily as a tent as well as being a more practical option for a two person hammock. On the downside they are much heavier, more expensive, require three much stronger trees (rather than two trees at a lower tension). It will be interesting to see the next big popular innovation in lightweight shelter options. Our guess is that this is not it - time will tell.
