Uluru trespassers fined more than $4800 eachThree Australian turists were rescued from Uluru after being stranded there for 16 hours. They were fined by Darwin Local Court for $4877 each under the Environmental Protection and Conservation Act for trespassing on a Commonwealth reserve.
